Sinner's Creed (A Sinner's Creed Novel) by Kim Jones

SYNOPSIS:

First in a new series—welcome to the Sinner’s Creed Motorcycle Club, where hard bodies and hot leather are made for each other, and love gone wrong is the most irresistible of all...

“I was the demon-possessed monster and she was the innocent, naïve angel. But none of that matters. She asks, I give and right now, I'll kill anyone who tries to stop me from giving this woman what she wants—me.”

Dirk lives in the shadows—performing hits, maintaining order, and upholding the no-holds-barred legacy of the Sinner’s Creed Motorcycle Club. A nomad with a restless spirit and a cold heart, the open road is his world. One of the few constants in his life: his desire for the one woman who has consumed his thoughts for years.

Saylor Samson grew up far from the harshness of Dirk’s world. But ever since she was seventeen she’s been drawn to this dark and mysterious man who always seemed to show up just when she needed him.

s After years of fated encounters, he’s back. This time he’s taking her. This time she’s ready for the ride. But just when the darkness in Dirk’s life begins to fade, Saylor reveals a secret that puts them both to the ultimate test. Now, Dirk has to make a decision: submit to his destiny with the MC, or choose his own.

REVIEW:

I love MC books. To me they are the ultimate men of my fantasies. Bad. Loyal. Unrefined and Damn Dirty between the sheets. I'd never read anything by Kim Jones and to be honest (please don't chuck anything at me) I don't even think I'd heard of her before. I went into this book expecting a typical MC book. Nothing in the blurb suggested anything out of the norm so I was looking forward to a pleasant read for the next few hours. I got completely more than I bargained for! Saylor...God...there's nothing you can hate about this girl. Never whiny. She accepts Dirk for who he is straight from the word go. Early on in the story you know she's hiding something and as you go along I began to have some kind of an inkling what it is but by the time it unfolds I was too sucked under and it hit me hard. I mean seriously hard! Dirk is just SWOON! And I mean a real genuine swoon because everything he does, everything he feels is believable. (Credit where credits due to the author who wrote this all so well). I honestly felt everything along with him all the ups and downs and in betweens. I'm still not completely understanding how such a wonderful and complete love story was able to completely unravel over such a short amount of time and so few pages but it does and it's perfect. The end is absolutely gut wrenching. I was absolutely praying for them both at the end and I was left an absolute blubbering mess.

This review was prepared by JoJo. An ARC was provided in exchange for an honest review.
