ALL GROWN UP IS LIVE!
A Standalone Contemporary Romance
#1 New York Times Bestselling Author Vi Keeland
SYNOPSIS
When I first encountered Ford Donovan, I had no idea who he was…well, other than the obvious. Young, gorgeous, successful, smart. Did I mention young? If I did, it bears repeating. Ford Donovan was too young for me.
Let’s back up to how it all started. My best friend decided I needed to start dating again. So, without my knowledge, she set up a profile for me on a popular dating site—one that invited men ages twenty-one to twenty-seven to apply for a date. Those nicknamed Cunnilingus King were told they’d go straight to the top for consideration. The profile wasn’t supposed to go live. Another point that bears repeating—it wasn’t supposed to.
Nevertheless, that’s how I met Ford, and we started messaging. He made me laugh; yet I was adamant that because of his age, we could only be friends. But after weeks of wearing me down, I finally agreed to one date only—my first after twenty years of being with my high school sweetheart. I knew it couldn’t last, but I was curious about him.
Though, you know what they say…curiosity kills the cat.
My legs wobbled walking into the restaurant.
Ford was seated at the bar. When he turned around, he took my breath away.
His sexy smile nearly melted my panties.
But…he looked so familiar.
As I got closer I realized why.
He was the son of the neighbor at our family’s summer home.
The boy next door.
Only now…he was all man.
I hadn’t seen him in years.
I left the restaurant and planned to put the entire crazy thing behind me.
Which I did. Until summer came.
And guess who decided to use his family’s summer home this year?

REVIEW
Ford Donovan.... wow. He has definitely become my new book boyfriend. Vi keeland has done it once again. I devoured this book a lot quicker than I wanted to finish. She had me so engrossed in the storyline I definitely did not want to put the book down. Definitely a summer must read!
I love Valentina Davis' character. I love her strength to let anything let her down and her determination to succeed. She’s a newly divorced mom trying to find who she is in this new life. She has always done things for other people, never for herself. But now is her time to find her way. Especially when it comes to men. It’s understandable she doesn’t want to jump into another relationship but she needs to put herself out there again. No one should have to deal with what she went through so it’s understandable why she has reservations on moving on.
Ford Donovan... young in age but he is wise beyond his years. He’s had to grow up rather quickly and has taken on so many responsibilities at a young age, unlike your typical 25 year old. He has a business to run and a college kid to look after. When I hear Ford's story, my heart goes out to him. I just want to wrap my arms around him and give him a big hug. He has had to put his goals on hold and change his entire life but he did it all selflessly. He didn’t get to enjoy his twenties like his other friends have. While they were partying Ford was growing up.
When Ford and Valentina first met online, they instantly connected. But the age difference is what makes Valentina hesitant. I have never read a book where the woman is older than the man before, so this was a bit different for me, that it felt refreshing to read. Ford is a persistent guy who wants to make her realize he isn’t as young as his age states, that he is beyond older and wiser than the average. It takes a bit of coaxing for Valentina to see reason but once she realizes Ford really is the boy next door, she just can’t go forward.
I love who Valentina is with Ford around. He slowly brings her out of her shell, allowing her to experience life in a whole new level. Her confidence level is building and she is doing things she never could have imagined. But to her, it always comes back to the age difference. Their connection though... I can feel it by just reading it. I just love the banter between the two of them. There are some moments where I just want to shake Valentina and make her listen and see what is truly going on in front of her.
Valentina’s best friend Eve is amazing. Everyone needs a friend like her on their corner. She has no filter and will do anything for her girls happiness.
Ford has been exposed to true love existing from his parents. But when the future exposes some hidden secrets, it could possibly ruin everything.
Can they both fight for what they feel is right? Or are they doomed from the beginning?
Go pick up your copy today, you won't regret it. Let this be your next summer read.
