ABOUT THE BOOK:
The rich and popular Sharks rule at prestigious, ivy-covered Camden Prep. Once upon a time, I wanted to be part of their world—until they destroyed me.
The last thing I expected was an anonymous love letter from one of them.
Please. I hate every one of those rich jerks for what they did to me. The question is, which Shark is my secret admirer?
Knox, the scarred quarterback.
Dane, his twin brother.
Or Chance, the ex who dumped me. . .
Wait. That’s stupid.
What I really mean is, you look at me and I feel something REAL.
It’s been ten months since you were here, but I can’t forget you.
I’ve missed seeing you walk down the hall.
I’ve missed you cheering at my football games.
I’ve missed the smell of your hair.
And then everything fell apart the night of the kegger.
Don’t hate me because I’m a Shark.
I just want to make you mine.

REVIEW by Kelly:
Wow. Ilsa definitely knocked this one out of the park.
Ava. Loved her. She’s such a badass bitch. Only if I had half the strength she had. Everything that came her way she endured. There was nothing that could have gotten in her way. One incident changed her life in the blink of an eye. She didn’t let that stop her. She couldn’t let her enemies see how it affected her. She put her head up high and carried on like nothing ever happened. She is fierce AF!
There is a whole group of football boys who are well known with the school, the head honcho being Knox the quarterback. Chance dated Ava, who left her for someone else. Dane, who is Knox’s brother. One way or another, every single one of the boys hurt her.
Ava and Knox come from two completely different sides of the track. He has it all, while she needs to work for everything. Heck, she is a scholarship kid. Ava is doing the best she can to stay afloat and to be the best she can for her and her brother. She is all he has. Knox. Swoon. I should have seen it coming. He is not the big tough guy that he makes out to be. He sounds all high and mighty around everyone but he does have a soft side. A side that only Ava sees. He tries with all high might to push Ava away. Even says some not so nice things to her. But that only makes her want to know more about him. There’s more to him than football. He has a past that no one but Dane knows about. He harbors a lot, which has affected him in such a big way. Ava doesn’t fall for it. She knows there is more to him and is intrigued by him. She pushes and pushes until she slowly peels away his barriers. Being from two different sides of the track means nothing when you both are broken. These two broken people try to find the missing pieces together. All it takes is one person to see who you truly are inside and help you become a better person. That is what they are doing for one another. Walls are broken down and they see that they’re more alike than they thought. They just need to fight the world together.
The connection that they have is off the charts. You can find a mile away. They just couldn’t stay away. But what happens when love isn’t enough and the past comes back with a vengeance? Will they realize that two people from opposite worlds can’t coexist? Could it be the end to what just started? Or will it be something that will set them free? Sacrifices need to be made, but at what cost?
My heart did drop a bit at the end like WTF is happening. But I slowly recovered. They came full circle. Everything they did was for a reason. And I agreed with their choices. It was definitely needed. They needed to find themselves in order for anything between them to work. It will only make them so much stronger. The book ended. I definitely loved its but I don’t know how I feel about it. I’m going to be suffering a bad hangover. This book definitely gave me all the feels. Such a raw and emotional book that will grasp you from the beginning. By far a book that I will be thinking of for a long time.
