From New York Times bestselling author Jill Shalvis...
SOMETIMES YOU CAN GO HOME AGAIN . . .
After an overseas mission goes wrong, Army Special Forces officer Jacob Kincaid knows where he must go to make things right: back home to the tiny town of Cedar Ridge, Colorado. All he needs to scrub away his painful past is fresh mountain air, a lakeside cabin, and quiet solitude. But what he discovers is a gorgeous woman living on a boat at his dock.
Sophie Marren has nowhere else to go. She's broke, intermittently seasick, and fighting a serious attraction to the brooding, dishy, I'm-too-sexy-for-myself guy who's now claiming her dock. Something about Jacob's dark intensity makes her want to tease-and tempt-him beyond measure. Neither one wants to give any ground . . . until they realize the only true home they have is with each other.

Cedar Ridge is the place to be to fall in love. Jacob
Kincaid returns home to Cedar Ridge with a clear purpose ~ making things right
with his family. He knew it wasn’t going to be easy. What he didn’t expect was
the sharp tongued, quick witted Sophie Marren to help ease him back into life
at home.
These two are perfect for each other. They melted my heart
and made me laugh. Sophie has a heart of gold and the patience of a saint to
withstand even half of what life has thrown her way. Jacob oozes all kinds of
brooding sex appeal. As the story unfolded, I found what I expected to be a
light and fluffy story turning into one with a lot of depth and feeling. With a
Jill Shalvis novel, I should have known better. Every detail is tied together
and written to convey genuine honesty ~ from the arguments, to explanations to
the making up.. I loved all the sibling interaction, Kenna!!! Wow, so
fantastic. Once again a top-notch read not to be missed.
