This story is amazing! Over the years I have read 7 books in the Alluring Indulgence series and with each book we got to know this family just a little bit more. Curtis & Lorri Walker are the back bones of the Walker family. In the book, Curtis, we get the love story of Curtis and Lorri. Walker, the parents of The Walker Men that we all love and adore.
This book is simply breathtaking. To see how their love evolved and weathered the storm through the years, warmed my heart. Things weren't always easy for Curtis and Lorri. They met when they were both young. Lorri was fourteen and Curtis was sixteen. The two of them hit it off immediately. Curtis wanted to spend as much time as he could with Lorri. Lorri's father gives Curtis an ultimatum. One that he knew he had to comply with or he would lose Lorri. Losing Lorri was not an option.
Curtis made some decisions that effected them and had the possibility to destroy them. He only hoped that Lori would be understanding and forgive him. Curtis always made sure to let Lorri know that he loved her.
"You are my love that lasts a lifetime."
I now know where all the Walker men got their dirty mouths from. The Apple didn't fall far from the tree. Curtis Walker is a naughty fella.
I adored this story. I didn't want it to end. I absolutely LOVED it. I loved how we got their POV and saw how Curtis and Lorri's love began.
