Review by CA Borgford

At first glance Alex Murphy and Gretchen Walker seem completely different. Their experiences, wants, needs, everything about them seems opposite. The one obvious thing they have in common is they are both very skilled at denying themselves true and long lasting happiness. A happiness that can only be achieved by putting themselves first.

Alex and Gretchen’s romance is sweet, sexy and well written. Stacey does a great job of including engaging secondary characters in this heartfelt story. Defending Hearts is a light easy read.
