Erin has once again blown me away……this read, to me, is an
original. There are plot twists that you won’t see coming, character(s) that
you will love to hate and characters that you will fall head over heels
for. Erin also brings to life a plot
that is born of today BUT still gets swept under the rug.
Monroe Taylor Cassidy was not a whole girl from the time she
was a young teen. Circumstances were such that it led her to live life an unhealed
woman. An woman that enters into
marriage with an agenda that suits her needs.
Her husband, Colin “Clutch” Cassidy, QB of the Pats.
All-American, every man wants to be him. He lives the American Dream. He too enters into marriage with Monroe with
his own agenda.
Their lives read storybook. But behind their private doors the
biggest fable is being written.
When the “AGENDA” needs to be amended, the
fallout will be enormous and outreaching.
All the characters in this book are fantastic whether they
have major or minor roles. Erin includes
a soundtrack for this read, but not one you would think. At the beginning of
each chapter she has written the poetry of Christopher Poindexter. Each is so
fitting. This read left me elated. Having said this, the journey that you take
to get to the end can be heartbreaking and heartwarming all in one. Come and ride along with Sandy D & Rizzo
in the original “Greased Lightning”!!
