Fighting for Forever (Fighting #6)
Slut. Hooker. Whore.
The taunts never bothered me. They only see what I allow them to see, and a Las Vegas stripper is the perfect cover.
My life had direction. I had a mission—until the man I needed vanished and is presumed dead.
It’s time to move on—give up the dream for revenge—and no one shows me that more than the mop-headed fighter with eyes the color of the ocean.
If anyone can teach me just how sweet life can be, it’s him. But first, I’d have to let go.
Mase. Baywatch. Mayhem.
I’m known by many names, but there’s only one that stirs panic and worry in my gut every time I’m called it.
Brother.
I’ve bailed him out of trouble for years, so when he turns up in Vegas and asks for me, I’m prepared for the worst. And the worst is exactly what I get in the form of a lilac-eyed beauty named Trix.
She’s everything I hate about Vegas: a stripper, loose with her body and her morals. But there’s something about her, a complexity that she buries deep, and I’m determined to uncover it.
The deeper I go, the less I understand. When I finally learn the truth, we engage in a battle where life and death hang in the balance.
Fighting could kill us both, but if we win, forever is the prize.

REVIEW:
Fighting for
Forever is the 6th installment of the series and I have read every book and enjoyed
all of them. Fighting for Forever with
the ending and the epilogue made this my favorite of the series and in my
opinion a must read.
We have met
Mason and Trix in prior installments but they have yet to meet each other and
when they do sparks really fly, the good, the bad, the ugly and the
beautiful. This is their story and it is
hard at times but when all is said and done they are tighter then they could
ever be and they will always fight for their forever.
What happens
when you are adopted with your older sister from Russia and live in the life of
the church with your new and wonderful family and your sister has protected you
from day one? She lives the life of
giving and helping and all she wants to do it good. She sets out one night to go back to school
and she stops what she thinks is to help someone and they kidnap her and kill
her in the most gruesome way. What do
you do when you are the one to identify her remains and you see her cut from
head to toe, what do you do when you lost not only someone in your family but
the person who wouldn't leave with her new family unless you came with, you
were a package deal and she would have lived her life in an orphanage over
living the good life with a new family just to protect you. You get enraged and you want the person
responsible to pay, you set your life goal to find them and make them suffer
the way your sister did.
But then
what happens when you realize you have gotten nowhere in 4 years and you are
living a life of revenge. How much do you
owe to your sister of your life when she isn't here any longer to see what you
have don? How long do you go one hurting
yourself, disrespecting yourself, disrespecting the work your sister lived by? You have lived in a world of feeling you are
nothing unless you find your sister's killer?
Then you
meet a man and he is the most beautiful man you have ever seen but you broke
his phone and he is mean, really mean. You tell him to F off and go to the room
where you are working tonight as an exotic dancer. He is there but he is still not happy. Then you see a tenderness in him and you back
his story up and help him out but you get out of there as soon as you can
because you can tell this isn't the right place to be. Lucky enough to run into him again and the
youth center and things move on from there.
Mason is a
UFL fighter and he is the baby of the bunch he trains with. He sees Trix and knows she is the one, he
fights it because how in the world could he be with an exotic dancer, he can't. He fights all that he believes in because the
pull to her is just too much. And when
he acknowledges she is the one and he puts all aside to show her what she is,
she is so much more then she believes she is.
He shows her they are meant to be and be forever.
There are a
few things that Trix decided along the lines that I was not at all happy with
but I know in my heart of heart she meant the reasons she did them and she
loved Mason more then she loved herself.
He was a good man and he stood by her when I can honestly say I am not
sure all the love I have would be able to deal with what he dealt with.
On top of
that Mase's brother Drake is a world of trouble for Mason. But he feels this need to protect him and
make him better because Drakes father is literally the scum of the earth and
Mason's dad has been a great dad, a great provider and that gives him guilt
that his brother never had that. Through
the book you learn how seriously close all of their lives are interwoven and
some people redeem themselves and some do not.
I loved the
book it has just enough angst to make it a page turner, I read in one day and
only put the book down when I absolutely had too. Five star read for me, hope you read and feel
the same as I did.
