I've been a huge fan of Megan Smith since I fell in love with the characters in The Love Series. I wasn't quite sure what to expect from Finding Us, and all I can say is that Megan delivered another great book. In Finding Us, we're introduced to Knox and Jasmine. Knox has his own agenda when he meets Jasmine; one that he's had set into motion for quite some time. The only problem is, once Knox gets to know Jasmine, his feelings begin to change.

Jasmine's life has always been dictated to her. After graduation from college, she sets out to live the life that she wants. She's never had the best relationship with her parents. She's always done what was expected of her and what she was told to do.  So once she walked down the aisle at her college graduation, she knew she would no longer be controlled.   Jasmine crossed paths with Knox when she became close friends with his brother. Sparks seem to fly instantly between the two of them. It's obvious that Knox and Jasmine are attracted to each other. The only problem is, Jasmine's feelings are genuine, whereas Knox's feelings may not be?

As the two of them get to know each other, lines begin to blur. Knox is beginning to fall for Jasmine, and he needs to decide if he is going to leave his plan for revenge behind and allow himself to fall for Jasmine, or continue with this charade and crush her heart. There are several questions that will run through your mind while reading Finding Us.
  • Are Knox's feelings for Jasmine genuine?
  • Will Knox follow through with his plan?
  • Will Knox be honest with Jasmine?
  • If Knox is truthful with Jasmine about his original plan, how will she react?
  • Can Jasmine forgive Knox?
  • Can they have a future together if their relationship has been built on lies?

I think Megan did a great job with the main characters along with the sub-characters. She made you feel like you could be a part of this group. The bantering that goes on between all of them is hysterical. I enjoyed seeing the relationship blossom between Jasmine and Knox. At times I was irritated with Knox, because I wanted him to come clean with Jasmine and try and build an honest relationship with her. I wanted him to be honest with himself and accept that he was falling in love with Jasmine. Even though I wanted to smack Knox I few times, I was drawn to him. I wanted more from him. I'm not saying I agree with his plan for revenge at all, but I understood what he was feeling. Because Megan laid out the story the way she did, she allowed me to love Knox; therefore, I wanted him to find peace within himself and find happiness with Jasmine.

Megan has set up the ending of the book, where we are definitely left wanting more, and I am excited that we will be getting more from this group of characters.
