I am a HUGE fan of Kristen Proby. I thought Luke was amazing in Come Away With Me. When I read Fight With Me, Nate was just too hot to handle. I didn’t think anyone could top Nate with his tattoos and infamous “apa” piercing. Well, I was wrong… Will Montgomery takes the cake in Play With Me…. This book is AMAZING !!!
Will Montgomery has it all.
He is a successful quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks, has the perfect
body, is absolutely gorgeous, has a beautiful home and a great family. The only thing he doesn’t have is a love
interest. Will is the perfect alpha
male!! He is dominant when needed, yet a complete
sweetheart. I think Will is the
perfect man !!
Then we have Megan McBride who is a pediatric cancer nurse at Seattle Children's Hospital. Megan
is self sufficient, strong willed, speaks her mind and has serious issues with trust. Megan attended college with Jules and
Natalie, Will’s sisters. It has been a
few years since Megan has seen Jules, until one day she stumbles into a burger
joint in Seattle and sees Jules and Will sitting at a table. Immediately Will is attracted to Megan, but
Megan wouldn’t give him the time of day.
In her eyes, he is a complete ass and is not impressed with his star football
status.
Will is determined to show Megan that he is not the pompous ass
that she assumes him to be. Will does not take NO very lightly. There is definitely chemistry between the
two and Megan can not deny her attraction
to Will.
Megan has trust issues and has built a wall around her heart.
The question is, will
Will Montgomery be able to brake down that wall?? Megan affiliates love with losing. Everyone that Megan has ever loved has left
her. Will Megan allow herself to love
Will?
I fell in love with Will immediately. Will’s love for Megan is undeniable. He will
do anything for Megan. For the first
time in a long time, Will was protective over a woman that was not related to
him. “How did she become my whole world
in such a short amount of time? My God,
I’d do anything for her.”
Megan and Will have a genuine connection. I loved how Kristen portrayed Will as a great
guy, who was an athlete and had values as opposed to having Will be a manwhore. I felt as though, I was standing on the side
lines waving my pom poms routing for Will and Megan.
Play With Me had me crying at
times as well as laughing out loud. There is one particular scene where the girls are drunk and I was hysterical laughing. You'll have to read the book, to find out what scene I am talking about. I won't give ya any spoilers.
If you love an alpha male, then
you are going to LOVE Will Montgomery.
Megan had a dominant personality as well. Megan will have you in stitches with her
sense of humor. I love how all of
Kristen’s women in her books are strong willed and speak their minds and are not
meek and timid.
If you have not read this series, I suggest you do
IMMEDIATELY !!!! Kristen Proby has hit
the ball out of the park with this one.
She amazes me with every book that she writes. I look forward to reading each book as she
publishes them !!! I can not wait to see
what she has in store for the rest of the Montgomery brothers, Luke’s brother
Mark and his sister, Sam.
