Ladies Man by Katy Evans (2 reviews)

Blurb:

He’s not the guy you date.

He’s the one night stand.

You’d think the man who sends hot looks my way, who called me succulent, would want to strip me to my skin and spread me out on his bed like every other woman in Chicago.

Except, he passed on my offer….

Just like I once passed on his.

He’s wary, like I am.

He’s broken, like I am.

And everyone knows two broken parts can’t ever make a whole.

So I try to distract myself with dating.

Tahoe and I are strictly friends. He doesn’t think my new beau is good enough—he doesn't think any man is, especially himself.

The more time Tahoe and I spend together, the more confused I feel.

I'm trying to open up to love.

But I'm quickly realizing that the only man I want is the stubborn, cocky, unattainable playboy Tahoe Roth.

The one my mother warned me about.

The one my body craves.

The only one who will surely break my heart.

REVIEW by Jeanine:

I fell in love with Tahoe Roth. I loved his and Regina's friendship and the back and forth with those two. The sexual tension between them was crazy!  I love how detailed every scene is. I felt like I was right there in the moment with them. Tahoe had me swooning literally and Regina I loved from the very beginning. She's always had a major crush on Tahoe but nothing would ever be done about it because Tahoe doesn't think he's good enough for her. I felt bad for Regina when she started seeing Trent.  So many people in life stay with someone just because they are comfortable when they aren't truly happy. There was no sparks with him like their always was with Tahoe.

I love this book so much! I can not wait to read Callen's story! Just when I thought Saint would be my forever book boyfriend, Tahoe stepped in and had me going crazy!!!! Katy Evans... Another 5 stars from me!!!

REVIEW by Heather:

I absolutely LOVED Tahoe Roth. If I am going to be honest, I thought he would have been more of the aggressor, not Regina. I understood where Tahoe was coming from. He knew he was a manwhore, just like his friends. He was a ladies man. He could swoon the panties off of any woman, with just a look. He cared for Regina. He valued their friendship and knew she deserved the best. But what happens when the one girl you think deserves more than you can offer, continues to offer herself to you. Tahoe continued to refuse Regina's advances, but a man can only be tempted so many times, before he wants a taste.  But what happens when Tahoe takes that tempted taste? Will he be able to walk away? Will be change who he is for Regina? Is Regina the one woman that can tame this wild man?

Sparks fly between the two. The sexual frustration between the two is evident. But how long will Tahoe stand on the sidelines and watch Regina try and fall for someone else, knowing damn well, it should be him, she is falling for. A man can only have so much restraint before it breaks.

What did all the other ladies have that she didn't. Why couldn't Tahoe look at her like he did the other women that threw themselves at him? What was so different about her? Was he not attractive to her? Was she not his type? Did Tahoe even have a type? A woman can only take so much rejection before she tries to find comfort from someone else. So what happens when Tahoe sees Regina dating other men? Will he stand by and watch it happen? Will he intervene? I guess you will have to ONE CLICK LADIES MAN !!!!

I loved the relationship that Tahoe and Regina had. The friends to lovers storyline always gets me. But there was something else that sucked me into this story. I loved their sense of humors. I loved how they could be open with each other, never embarrassed, and trust me, Regina was in some embarrassing situations. But she always knew Tahoe would be there for her. Maybe just as a friend, when she obviously wanted more.
