Bang Bang by Rachel Van Dyken

SYNOPSIS:

He was my best friend.
Until he became my enemy.
All within the span of one night.
Bang, Bang, Bang, Bang.
The rapid fire of gunshots became the soundtrack to my life.
This is the Mafia. Lines are blurred. Choices are never black and white. And the life you thought you knew is... one giant lie.
He was dead.
And I didn't want his life to be in vain, so I tried to make something of myself. I tried and failed.
Now he's back. Alive. And he wants something...
Me.
Nobody ever said the mafia played fair.
Welcome to The Family.

REVIEW:

This was a quick read and worth the ninety-nine pennies I paid for it.  I wasn't sure what to expect when I picked this book up.  I only knew that it was part of the Eagle Elite Series.  So when I was introduced to two new characters, and got a little more background information on a character that we already know from this series I was excited.  Bang Bang is the story of Axton Abandonato and Amy De Lange.

It says that this can be read as a stand alone, however I do not recommend that.  If you read Bang Bang prior to reading the first three books in the series, you will know the outcome of some situations before reading them first hand in the books.

In Bang Bang you will see how the mafia has the ability to destroy people lives.  One minute she has happy and in love with her best friend, and then it was all taken away in a blink of an eye.  Well actually in several gunshots.  The Mafia knows no boundaries, it affects everyone who is a part of it.  And even if you are not apart of it, if you are close to someone who is a part of it... then it will affect you.

Grab Bang Bang at this price, but I recommend reading, Elite, Elect, Entice, Elicit prior to diving into this one.
