REVIEW:

Eternal Soulmate is Brooklyn Taylor's debut novel.   I didn't know quite what to expect when I picked up the book to read.  I have to say that I enjoyed the story line and I could not wait to see what happened next.

Ashlynn and Cooper did not have the picture perfect childhood.  Ashlynn's mother was being brutally abused and Ashlynn seen the injuries that her mother endured on a daily basis. Ashlynn didn't trust any man cause of the examples she has seen in her life.  Her father walked out on her as a young child, and the men that her mother was involved with were worthless pieces of shits.

One little trip to the beached changed Ashlynn's life forever.  When she set on her journey that morning in order to close one chapter of her life, she never thought that another chapter would open.  One that would give Ashlynn a happy ending.

Cooper is a police office who focuses on domestic violence.  He has been called to the scene and seen woman brutally beaten by the men that claim to love them.  When Cooper meets Ashlynn, there was something about her that made him want to get to know her.

When the two of them run into each other again, Ashlynn feels safe with Cooper.  She has built such a wall around her heart, never allowing anyone close.  Will Cooper be able to remove that wall?  Will Ashlynn open her heart to Cooper?

When people from Ashlynn's past resurface, what will she do?  Will she tell Cooper about her past?  Will she allow Cooper to protect her?  Will she be able to protect herself from this threat?

Eternal Soulmate is a passionate love story where two people who have come from such broken pasts, can find true happiness with each other.  I was routing for Cooper and Ashlynn from the very beginning.  Cooper is a loving gentlemen, and vows to love Ashlynn and protect her.  Ashlynn knows what it is like to feel broken, so she works to help others get through the struggles of abuse.  Ashlynn deserves to be loved, she deserves to be happy, but will open her heart to Cooper and allow him to do it.

Book 2 in Forever Series -  This book can be read as stand alone.

SYNOPSIS:

Grace Ingram made one mistake that sent her down a path that was full of heart break and misery. In a moment of hesitation her stubbornness left her filled with doubts in her mind that could cause her to sacrifice the love of her life.

Grace was a blue-collar, strong, independent Texas girl that had been with the same guy since high school. Now at the age of 26 she has been asked the one thing most women are waiting and wishing for, but not Grace. The last thing she wanted was to get married and start a family- especially with a guy that had never had to work for a living. She knew Kyle was the only one she had ever loved with all her heart, trusting and allowing a level of intimacy she would never allow with another. After all he was the only man that knew of the abuse she suffered as a high school teenager. The differences in their lifestyles were in such contrast, though, that it was hard for her to let her guard down. Grace had no idea the battle she would really be fighting once she realized she was losing Kyle for good.

Kyle Chandler was everything every woman wanted. He was rich, gorgeous and full of charm. He was a ladies’ man but the only girl he had eyes for was Grace, his high school sweetheart. He had the world handed to him on a silver platter. The one thing he couldn’t have and wanted deeply was to make Grace his, but he hadn’t been successful at accomplishing that. After years of reluctance he decides to take the risk and ask her to be his, only to be met with the answer he dreaded.

Now, the three girls are back together, trying to juggle their friendships and their busy lives. McKoy is beginning to take over her successful family Vineyard, and Ashlynn getting ready for the arrival of her baby with Cooper.

Will the people that come into their lives keep them apart? Or serve to make them realize the love that they really share?

Do you have to really lose the most important person in your life to realize how special they are? And how hard will you fight to regain that love?

Can Grace overcome her indecisiveness, confident in the love she and Kyle share, knowing they are meant to be together? And is love really enough?

REVIEW:

Grace and Kyle have been in love with each other since high school. Both come from different backgrounds.  Kyle comes from a wealthy family, whereas Grace is middle class. Her father owns a mechanic shop and works hard for a living.  Grace is following in her father's footsteps and plans to take over the shop when her father retires.  Grace has never been comfortable with Kyle's wealth.  Kyle on the other hand, never acted like he had it.  Yes, his parents were wealthy, he may have been born with a silver spoon in his mouth, but he loved Gracie with all of his heart.  He planned on marrying her one day, Gracie just needed to get on the same page.

Kyle finally decides that enough is enough. Gracie needs to make a decision.  Either they commit to a future together, or they need to go their separate ways.  Gracie didn't seem quite surprised my Kyle's little ultimatum, it was just a matter of time before he made it.

When Gracie doesn't give Kyle the answer he is looking for, things fall apart for the both of them.  They both make decisions that they will regret, decisions that will effect them for the rest of their lives.  Once you ring a bell, you can not unring it.  So they two of them will have to deal with the consequences of that.  Will they be able to forgive each other for their actions? Will they be able to move past this?  Will their mistakes ruin their chance of a future together.

When Kyle needed Gracie the most, he felt as though she turned her back on him.  Things are not always black and white.  Gracie may think that Kyle can't love an ordinary girl, but she is wrong.  Money doesn't buy happiness, sometimes money can destroy you.  With Kyle's back against the wall, he will need to make a decision that will effect him and possibly effect Gracie's future, if she opts to have one with him.

Endless Affinity is the second book in this series.  I have to say, I enjoyed Eternal Soulmate, but I loved Endless Affinity.  There are several twists and turns in this story, that will having you quickly turning the pages to see what is going to happen next.  I felt the connection between Kyle and Grace.  I actually felt sorry for Kyle at times.  I wanted to smack him a few times as well, but overall I really liked him.  He truly loved Gracie.  I just think Gracie's insecurities of money may have hindered her ability to see that Kyle loved her with all of his heart.

I loved how I got more of Cooper and Ashlyn and boy oh boy..  The way Brooklyn set up McCoy's book.  I am surprised I have any fingernails left.  I am dying to see what transpires between McCoy and Beau..
