Remembering Everly by J.L. Berg

After two years in a coma, August Kinkaid has forgotten the darkness in his past. But his past hasn't forgotten him. His beautiful former fiancée, Everly, remembers every tumultuous moment of their stormy relationship. The sizzling passion. The web of lies. And the terrible secret Everly's been hiding since her last fateful night with August.

Now the truth is out and August remembers everything. As his long-buried memories come flooding back, he begins to understand why Everly would want to move on with her life. Why she would give her heart to another man. And why August should try to forget her once and for all.

But he can't give up on the only woman he's ever loved. Even if he has to reopen old wounds--and face the darkest demons of his past--August will do whatever it takes for a second chance with Everly. He let her slip away once. He's not about to spend the rest of his life remembering Everly when he could be holding her in his arms forever . . .

REVIEW by JEANINE:

August and Everly stole my heart from the very first chapter of Book 1. When two people are meant to be together, there isn't much that can keep that from happening. August is still trying to get a lot of his memory back and Everly is getting ready to marry Ryan. They went there separate ways again and this time around Everly is bound and determined to marry Ryan and move on with her life. August is trying to stay very far away from Everly, not because he doesn't love her still, but to keep her safe. I Love Ryan! Loved his character and
everything about him! I am not sure how he  put up with Everly knowing that her heart was just somewhere else but that just goes to show you what a great guy he was!

Does Everly marry Ryan and live happily ever after? Or do her and August decide to
take care of whats really standing in there way? "Sometimes in life, we do not get to choose what's normal and what's not.

We only get to choose how we define ourselves in the process"

I love the way J.L. Berg writes! Her books literally captivate me. It's like an addiction, when I start reading, I can't seem to stop! Then of course I want more and more.. Now I will be waiting for her next which will hopefully be soon?

I highly recommend this book! Five stars from me!!!
