Slashes in the Snow by M. Never

Ky
Three years ago my father walked away. Away from our MC club, all his responsibilities, and me. We haven’t spoken since the day he handed me the keys to the kingdom.

Shoved them down my throat was more like it.

I hate him, and the new family he’s playing house with. He left his entire life behind for a woman he barely knows. But I’m strong, resilient, and don’t need a damn soul to survive.
At least, that’s what I thought...until she walked into my bar.

Kira
Someone is watching me. I can feel it. I wake up in the middle of the night freaked out of my mind, paranoid a stranger is there. My skin prickles every time I leave my house, because I know someone is following me.

I’m afraid. Alone. And there’s only one person left to turn to.

The stepbrother I never met. The man my stepfather speaks so highly about, but never sees. He’s the president of a notorious motorcycle club, and exactly the kind of person I need to protect me.

Little did I know, Ky Parish, freakin’ hates my guts.

Slashes in the Snow is an enemies to lovers, stepbrother romance, romantic suspense (emphasis on romance) with dark elements. Reader discretion is advised.

REVIEW by Kelly:

Sexy, thrilling, intense, suspenseful, angsty, gritty....so many words to describe this freaking fantastic M. Never story.

Ky and Kira have a raw and fiery attraction from the moment they first meet. They come from two different worlds yet each needs something from the other. The intensity builds as we quickly turn page after page. It’s scorching and explosive and you wouldn’t want it any other way.

Never’s words allow us to easily fall into the page and walk through the story as we are there ourselves. Each moment of fear, of lust, of intense emotion, we are able to feel and to belong to that part of the story. The suspense that is intertwined in each chapter leaves us gripping the edge of our seats just waiting for the other shoe to drop. We know it’s coming, we can feel the potency, smell the fear. Trepidation is the tight rope we walk.

M. Never has a unique way with her stories. They’re always passionate, powerful and allow us to live on the edge. This beauty here doesn’t disappoint. I highly encourage you to first delve into the prequel, Snowfall, as it gives you an idea and reason behind the extreme emotions when walking into this story. One click this, you will revel in the thrill.

Gerard Parish has always known who he is. A biker, a father, a gambling man. But one chance encounter with a beautiful brunette at his auto body shop and everything changes. The way he thinks, the way he looks at life, and most importantly who he wants to be. As Baum Squad president, Gerard holds responsibilities he can’t turn his back on, but when he’s with Kristen, all those responsibilities seem insignificant. She’s a woman like none other, smart, sophisticated, sexy, rich. She’s a woman he never envisioned himself with but is somehow lucky enough to have. Faced with an impossible choice, Gerard must come to terms with what he inevitably knows— he has to walk away. The question is, from whom? The club or Kristen?
