The first in a new series and what can I say... once again I am drawn in from the first couple of pages. Mack is a character who most can relate too. Trying to please everyone until a breaking point that she finally decides to live for herself. Slade you feel bad for, then you want to punch then you fall in love with him! Both of them are overcoming their own obstacles but together they heal.
The one thing that I always look forward to with a Rachel Van Dyken Book is the humor. Although this is romance, Rachel give us something to truly laugh out loud too. This makes me feel like it’s more real and I enjoy the laughs. Mack and Slade together are perfect they both play well off one another and have great chemistry. I highly recommend this book and I am really hoping for Jagger and Matt books.
