This book captivated me from the very first page until the absolute last. I laughed a lot and I definitely swooned but I never once stopped rooting for Rebecca and Cade.

Rebecca is a field reporter who is working hard toward the permanent anchor position. Nothing will get in her way in achieving that. She has done as best as she can to get to that point. Getting that position is the one thing that will make her happy. Till Cade starts to cloud her thoughts.

Cade. You are going to fall in love with him. I definitely did. Yes he’s your typical cocky as hell ex-jock who things he is right to claim anything and everything that crosses his path. But he's got a soft side that will make you swoon. He wants Rebecca but she will not give him the time of day. They work together and although they have that combustible chemistry going on, one night isn’t worth the repercussions.

One hot night becomes the biggest mistake ever. Cade and Rebecca are on fire together. Holy hell I even felt the heat while I read some of the scenes. Rebecca wants it to never happen again while Cade can’t wait to get more from her. I loved the cat and mouse game they start to play. They know it’s wrong but yet it feels so right. I felt all of their emotions. Tia and Ilsa do a fantastic job putting it across. Rebecca has Cade feeling things he hasn’t felt in a woman. It’s like taming the playboy while catching him off guard. I absolutely loved it.

I felt bad for Rebecca while reading this book. With her profession she has an image to uphold. When one bad program happens, it all comes spiraling down for her and her dreams of that anchor job seems farther away from reality. The person who used to stand behind her is now one that is going against her. There is someone else out there they want instead of her. A much younger, more fit and someone who will attract the younger viewers. Her confidence level is diminishing and she will do anything in her power to get back to the top. This is something most women struggle with daily and to see it portrayed in this book kind of brings it out in the open.

When Rebecca finally feels she caught her big break, everything she put her faith in just seems to let her down. But what will Cade do? Will he let her walk away forever? OR will he go after the best thing that ever happened to him?

Not only will you love Rebecca and Cade, I assure you that you will love her roommate Chas and Cade’s brother. They are hysterical! I did picture throughout this book the two of them getting together though. That would be fun. But they could cause a whole lot of ruckus. Just with them two and their matchmaking skills.
