A brand new sinfully sexy standalone romantic comedy from bestselling authors Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente!

When you think about how easy it is to lose keys, phones, sunglasses and your dignity on social media, you might figure it'd be a cinch for me to ditch my V Card.

You'd be wrong.

At 25, I run a successful business, live in a fantastic apartment, and have fabulous friends to go out with any night of the week. And yet I'm still a card-carrying member of a club I don't want to belong to anymore. Good thing I know just the man for the deflowering job—my brother’s business partner and best friend.

Graham Campbell is charming, smart, and, I’m told, oh-so-skilled in the sack. As long as I keep my eyes on the prize, there’s no way this pluck-the-flower project could possibly complicate matters.

***

Work and pleasure. As the CEO of a fast-growing company, I've been enjoying both to the fullest. What do I do when the board throws me for an unexpected loop so I can keep my business in my hands? I enlist the help of my best friend's little sister since she holds a big stake in the company. But then I learn there's another big stake she wants.

The one between my legs.

I can do this. Seven nights to teach her everything I know in the bedroom. There's no way I'll fall for her, even though she’s earning top grades in every single sinfully sexy lesson. And turns out I’m learning something too. The trouble is I don’t have the answer key to what to do when I fall hard for her.

And that throws a whole new hitch in my plans.

REVIEW:

As always, I love anything Lauren Blakely writes. This was a first time I read anything by Lili Valente.  So lets discuss The V Card.

Graham and CJ has been friends forever. Graham was best friends with CJ's brother, Sean. Sean was killed in a fatal car accident. During their time with trying to come to terms with losing someone they loves, their friendship grew stronger. Graham promised to always be there for CJ, no matter what.

Graham needs CJ's help with his company that he formed with her brother. The company that CJ now owns a portion of, since her brother's passing.  When Graham tells her what he needs, CJ takes this opportunity to tell him what she needs. I don't think Graham every expected the proposal that CJ would offer him.

After pondering the idea, Graham can't stand the idea of someone else doing what she asked for. Graham has always found CJ sexy, but he always kept her at arms length. But that is about to change.......

The chemistry between the two of them was electrifying.  The only problem is, what happens after their seven (7) lessons. Will Graham continue to 'teach' her new things? Will their lessons turn to something permanent?  The two of them obviously have feelings for each other, their attraction isn't merely just physical. But what happens when your heart gets mixed up into things. CJ kept telling herself, not to fall for Graham. But the more time she spends with him, the more she continues to fall for him.  CJ has always wanted Graham, but knew he was off limits. Graham has always had feelings for her, but I think he pushed them deep....deep down because of his friendship with Sean. But with Sean not alive, will Graham go for it? Would Sean give him his blessings? Would Sean trust Graham with his sister's heart.  Only time will tell....  I guess you have to ONE CLICK, THE V CARD.

So......  I have to mention this.

For those of you that have read Forbidden Nights (Seductive Nights #5), I felt that The V Card had the same premise. In Forbidden Nights, Nate and Casey, have been friends for years.  Casey trusts Nate completely... with everything, including herself. So it makes perfect sense to Casey to ask Nate for some hands-on guidance, or shall I say tutoring sessions when Casey finds herself in need of some romantic expertise.  Nate is best friends with Casey's brother, Jack. Casey and Jack own a sex toy company.  In The V Card, Graham and Sean own a lingerie company.

I felt like there were a lot of similarities between the Forbidden Nights and The V Card. Notwithstanding, I enjoyed The V Card. I loved the chemistry between Graham and CJ. I loved the writing style. I loved the comedy between the two. So, for those of you who have not read the Seductive Nights Series, I suggest you do.

USA Today bestselling author Lili Valente writes both naughty things and funny things (that are also naughty). She has slept under the stars in Greece, eaten dinner at midnight with French men who couldn’t be trusted to keep their mouths on their food, and walked alone through Munich’s red light district after dark and lived to tell the tale. These days you can find her writing in a tent beside the sea, drinking coconut water and thinking delightfully dirty thoughts.
