The Sapphire Affair is a light and dreamy read. I was easily swept up into the mystery. Lauren Blakely continues to be a master at writing steamy pursuits. Jake and Steph sparkle like diamonds and shine like a bright sunny day. Their characters are very well developed and equally matched. I adore this couple together. Their attempts at self-restraint are laugh out loud funny and their sexy time is adventurous and electric. Jake radiates sex appeal. The yum factor is high … very very high. Add in a setting that’s perfect for a summertime beach read and you’ve got a recipe for success. What happens when your island tryst exceeds your expectations? Will love be their bounty? Or will they realize that the truth is still too risky? I can’t wait to find out when Jake and Steph’s adventure concludes in The Sapphire Heist.
