Description:
For two sworn enemies, anything can happen during the Hawaiian trip of a lifetime—maybe even love—in this romantic comedy from the New York Times bestselling authors of Roomies.
Olive Torres is used to being the unlucky twin: from inexplicable mishaps to a recent layoff, her life seems to be almost comically jinxed. By contrast, her sister Ami is an eternal champion . . . she even managed to finance her entire wedding by winning a slew of contests. Unfortunately for Olive, the only thing worse than constant bad luck is having to spend the wedding day with the best man (and her nemesis), Ethan Thomas.
Olive braces herself for wedding hell, determined to put on a brave face, but when the entire wedding party gets food poisoning, the only people who aren’t affected are Olive and Ethan. Suddenly there’s a free honeymoon up for grabs, and Olive will be damned if Ethan gets to enjoy paradise solo.
Agreeing to a temporary truce, the pair head for Maui. After all, ten days of bliss is worth having to assume the role of loving newlyweds, right? But the weird thing is . . . Olive doesn’t mind playing pretend. In fact, the more she pretends to be the luckiest woman alive, the more it feels like she might be.
With Christina Lauren’s “uniquely hilarious and touching voice” (Entertainment Weekly), The Unhoneymooners is a romance for anyone who has ever felt unlucky in love.

REVIEW by Heather:
This is my first book of Christina Lauren and it certainly will not be my last. I went in blind with this, not reading the synopsis or knowing the premise of the story. I simply requested a copy because I saw a few posts on social media about it.
Let me just say, this book was a great way to introduce me to the authors. The Unhoneymooners is a romcom that will have you laughing out loud. I adored Olive and Ethan.
For over two years, they both seemed to hate each other, but after finding themselves in Maui on a honeymoon, truths are revealed. Both Ethan and Olive have always been truthful with each other, they both seem to dislike each other, but after a conversation, some light is shined on their relationship.
It appears, they don't hate each other, they enjoy spending time with each other, they enjoy bickering with each other, but WHY, did someone want to make sure they stayed apart. That they wanted them to hate each other.
Olive believes she has a black cloud above her head, that she is a black cat, always with bad luck. But sometimes, our luck can change and I loved going on that journey with Olive. But let's not forget about Ethan. He was what every rom-com here should be. He made me laugh, he made me swoon, and he made me hot. I love every aspect of him.
Be sure to one click The Unhoneymooners, and spend fall in love with Olive and Ethan, while they fall in love with each other!!!
I received an advanced reader copy by the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
