TEMPTING BROOKE by Kristen Proby

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Kristen Proby comes a new story in her Big Sky series…

Brooke’s Blooms has taken Cunningham Falls by surprise. The beautiful, innovative flower shop is trendy, with not only gorgeous flower arrangements, but also fun gifts for any occasion. This store is Brooke Henderson’s deepest joy, and it means everything to her, which shows in how completely she and her little shop have been embraced by the small community of Cunningham Falls.

So, when her landlord dies and Brody Chabot saunters through her door, announcing that the building has been sold, and will soon be demolished, Brooke knows that she’s in for the fight of her life. But she hasn’t gotten this far by sitting back and quietly doing what she’s told. Hustle is Brooke’s middle name, and she has no intention of losing this fight, no matter how tempting Brody’s smile -- and body -- is.

**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

Tempting Brooke is part of the Big Sky Series of Kristen Proby’s and it is a Novella.  As with many Novella’s you get right into the story and sometimes this is a really nice change of pace.  Kristen is a favorite of mine, she brings you into her world of characters/friends/families and you feel as though you are part of their groups and lives.  Brooke and Brody work perfectly for a Novella since they have known each other so it is completely believable that they have gotten together and how quickly their love blossoms.

Brooke loves her job, she owns a small town flower shop and she is a town favorite herself.  Brody grew up in Cunningham Falls and left and didn’t look back because his past wasn’t so great, the only great part he remembers was Brooke.  Brooke was Brody’s best friend and he misses her but he can’t go back to stay, he needs to be done with Cunningham Falls.  The problem is he has to go back to town to ask Brooke of all people to move her business so he can sell the building and forever be done in Cunningham Falls.  What he doesn’t expect are the feelings that awaken in him when he sees her.  From there we get their story.

Once again Kristen Proby proves she is the queen of Small Town Romance.  As a huge fan of hers I expected nothing less but was worried knowing it was a novella to see how she pulled it together.  This is a 5 star read for me.  You should read the whole series, it is an amazing series and group of people to get to know.
