I stumbled upon this series after seeing several of my book friends post about it. Boy, am I glad they did. I don't even know where to begin. L.J. Shen writes a bad boy like no other.
With every turn of the page, I fell in love with the anti-hero harder than I ever anticipated. In Vicious we are introduced to a group of friends, Vicious, Dean, and Trent. Vicious and Dean both come from money, whereas Trent did not. These three are quite the catch and as teens they rule the town, and the school.
Emilia and her family move to this elite town when are parents are offered employment by Vicious's father and step mother. From the moments Emilia meets Vicious, something inside her sparks. Her blood burns for him. But he always keeps her at a distance. He loved to embarrass her. He thrived to make her feel uncomfortable. He was the cat, and she was the mouse. He loved to stalk her before he would strike.
All of that changes when Dean stakes his claim on her. Dean sees something special in Emilia. Things begin to develop between her and Dean driving Vicious crazy.
Vicious wants Emilia, but refuses to admit it. But if he can't have her, NO ONE CAN. So when an ultimatum is given to Emilia, she makes a decision that will not only change her life, but Deans and Vicious's.
Years pass and Emilia and Vicious's life end up on the same path. When Emilia is given an offer of a life time that will help her and he ailing sister, will she take it. WOW. Scandalous is jaw dropping. I have always been intrigued by Trent. We really didn't know much about him, so I've been interested to see what his story is. After reading the first two books in the series, we find out that Trent is a single father raising his daughter. You would think with all the money he has, he would have at least bought a box of condoms before he screwed a stripper. Well...... we can all see how that went for him.
After Trent's world is turned upside down, he is faced to get his life in order. No more late nights in the bar, rather he has late nights trying to console his daughter. When his daughter is effected by the events in his life, she turns into a mute as well. Her father has always been a man of few words. But when his daughter shuts down, he will do everything in his power to get her the help she needs.
While at a party, a girl catches his attention. A girl that should NEVER be on his radar. The girl is young, very young and her father is his new business partner.
Knowing that she is off limits, he can't stay away from her. He is drawn to her like a moth to a flame. The more he is near her, the more he wants her. But Trent knows, once he crosses that line, there is no going back. Will he step over the line? When Trent's daughter takes a liking to Trent's forbidden woman, he comes up with an idea. This plan can either help him or burn him.
Let me tell you, Trent is swoon worthy ! He will make you devour each page wanting to know what will happen next. Hands down, this is one of my favorite series !!!! I love me a bad boy and in this series, I got THREE BAD BOYS.
This was a fabulous read !!!! Definitely a 5 STAR READ !
