Hollywood hath no fury like a woman scorned. In this fun, flirty second-chance romance from New York Times bestselling author Sawyer Bennett, an aspiring starlet reconnects with her first love. “Sawyer Bennett never fails to deliver heroes I fall hard for and heroines I adore.”—Violet Duke Eden Goodnight went to Los Angeles to make it big, not to be publicly humiliated by her cheating fiancé at a red-carpet premiere. But when Eden returns to her hometown to put the scandal behind her, she can barely find a sympathetic shoulder to cry on. Turns out the locals are worse than the paparazzi, and they all think she’s turned into a spoiled brat. But in a strange twist of fate, the one person who seems to understand what Eden’s going through is Cooper Mayfield . . . the boy she left behind. Small-town charm is no match for the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. At least that’s what Coop’s been telling himself all these years. As Eden’s old flame—and the landscaper for her family’s historic home—Coop feels some responsibility for getting her out of her funk. But as soon as he sees that million-dollar smile, he’s a goner. Soon they’re making out like teenagers again. But when a life-changing role falls into Eden’s lap, Coop just hopes she doesn’t give up on a love that’s meant to be.

Review:
I
absolutely adored this book Jilted. Sawyer does a fantastic job making the
characters come to life you won't want to put the book down.
This
is pretty much your small town second chance book but with its own little
twist. Eden left her town and everything in it when she had her big break. This
includes Cooper the love of her life whom she was going to spend the rest of
her life with. Eden and Cooper were the complete opposites. They come from
completely different backgrounds but that did not stop them from falling in
love. Eden leaves everything to get her big break.
Eden
becomes completely successful throughout her career. She has everything she
could possibly need except happiness. She always felt lonely. My heart broke
for her when she reveals what she's truly feeling inside. Being a big shot, she
still wants to feel like a part of someone. Growing up she didn't have that
once her parents were gone. She essentially grew up alone. Until cooper that
is. When Edens current life takes a turn of events she runs back to the one
place she fled from.
I
was thinking when Eden went back home for a break everyone would welcome her.
But that wasn't the case. No one liked her. At all. But when and unusual
circumstance puts Eden and Cooper under the same roof, all hell will break
loose. I loved how their meeting after so many years played out and what
transpired between them. I laughed, I cried, I swooned and I got a bit angry at
some things. When all misunderstandings are cleared, Eden has her fresh start. And let me tell you, there were a lot of misunderstandings. I loved Cooper! He stood his ground with Eden and didn't let her suck him back
into the past. You can truly see that they bring out the best in one another.
And together they over come what transpired in the past and try to move
forward.
But
when Eden gets another big break, it's like deja vu all over again. Will she
continue to run? Or will she stay and fight? Is her
relationship with Cooper worth it all? Will cooper just let her go or will he
stop her this time?
The
chemistry between the two are off the charts. I loved them both. I mean Eden
became more likable to me when she was with Cooper. The true side of her comes out. Eden had one friend from
the bakery who befriended her when everyone hated her. She's awesome and she
deserves her happy ever after too. That is one book I would love to see come to life.

She believes in the good of others, and that a bad day can be cured with a great work-out, cake, or a combination of the two.
