Split by JB Salsbury

JB Salsbury is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author who has captivated readers around the world. Her unforgettable new novel is a story of romance and suspense, with a twist no one will see coming . . .

What do you do when you wake up with no memory of what you did last night?

Lucas spent the first half of his life protecting himself from others, but now his own mind is his biggest enemy. He doesn't know what happens when the blackouts overtake him, but he can recall the feelings---the rage, the confusion, the fear. Thankfully the quiet life he's found in Payson, Arizona has kept the darkness at bay. Until his boss's estranged daughter shows up in town, asking questions she shouldn't and sparking a desire Lucas can't control. Getting close to Shyann is the best thing that's ever happened to him, but when his blackouts return, unleashing the truth he's battled so long to hide, he may just lose her forever . . .

5 star review (Spoiler Free) by Chrissy Rhem

I am an avid reader of anything that JB writes. I was really interested when I saw she was venturing away from her MMA boys and trying something new. When I read the blurb I knew this was going to be amazing but I had no idea it would be AH-freaking-MAZING!! Split is definitely a book I will never forget. JB took a serious issue and handled it with care. This book gave me all the feels I love while reading. Shyann had me saying she was a brat one minute to loving her the next. Lucas was so shy that I just wanted to pull him from the pages and hug and protect him. But he had all the protection he needed in Shy Ann. What I really loved about her was she never gave up on Lucas, no matter what the obstacles. She stayed strong! And that ending.... it was a fantastic way to wrap up the book.

I have sat back and thought how I could tease in this review but I feel like it would give away too much so I am leaving you with this. Read the book! You will not be disappointed. Split has just moved to my #1 read of 2016!
