Let me introduce you to DAMIEN WALES. Where shall I begin.  Let’s start with how SEXY he is.  Damien is a total ALPHA male with his piercing blue eyes, dark hair and a body that will stop your heart.  When Damien is in the room, you feel his presence. 

Allie is strong willed, beautiful and not afraid to speak her mind.  Alli lost her parents a year ago in a car accident and pretty much has withdrew from the world.  She has been going through the motions with finishing out her junior year in college, but she has not been living.  Alli has taken the death of her parents hard and needs to take some time for herself to get her life into perspective.  Alli has a fear of letting anyone in because she is terrified of losing someone again.  She is hoping a week away from home in Miami will help her have the courage to move on with her life.

Alli has a love for photography.  She decides a walk on the beach at sunset will do her some good and she could get some great pictures.  Alli stumbles upon Damien while snapping away with her camera.  Her heart immediately begins to flutter and she is at a complete loss for words.  This has never happened to her before. Alli is definitely attracted to Damien and when he asks her to join him for dinner, her mouth can’t form the words to accept.  Finally after the huge lump in her throat clears, she manages to accept his invitation to dinner.

During dinner it’s evident that the two of them are attracted to each other.  Is it possible to feel this way after only knowing the person for a few short hours?  Did fate bring these two together?  Damien is very confident in himself and he wants to get to know Alli more, so he invites her to spend some time with him the next day. 

"You take my breath away.  I can feel your need for me.  My need is just as bad as yours.  I don’t want to rush this, Alli, because I want you to get to know me.  I won’t be a one-night stand for you.” ~ Damien.

Damien and Alli begin to spend time together when they return home, since they don’t live too far from each other.  Over time, their feelings begin to grow stronger for each other and Damien becomes were very protective of Alli.  Damien feels the need to make sure Alli is protected and sometimes it appears that he is being controlling, or possessive.  Alli will not be bossed around and told what to do.  Are Damien’s actions justified?

Alli needs to know why Damien is always trying to protect her. She needs answers to her questions.  Damien has a past, one that he is not sure he wants to share.  Will sharing his past with Alli, push her away or bring them closer together?  Will Damien be honest with Alli?  Will Alli accept his reasons? Can Alli trust Damien? 

“You’ve got to relax baby, and stop fighting me.  Breathe Alli.  Trust me.” ~ Damien

Damien and Alli’s relationship is not easy.  They face many obstacles throughout their relationship.  But trusting each other is what got them through it… together.  Communication was a key factor in Damien and Alli’s relationship.  By communicating how they felt about things, and about situations that arose, they were able to trust one another.  Trust is KEY is a relationship.  If you don’t have trust, your relationship does not have a stable foundation.  

Being with Damien has made Alli feel things that she hasn’t felt in a long time.  She feels alive again.  When Alli looks in the mirror, she sees a totally different person than she was when she arrived in Miami.

Alli begins to receive notes, texts and flowers from an anonymous sender.  Someone is trying to tell Alli something about Damien’s past, but she can’t seem to put the pieces together.  Will Alli tell Damien about the things she’s been receiving?  Will Damien know why she is getting them?  Is this the act of a jealous ex-lover?  Is someone trying to tell Alli something?  Is Alli in danger?  Will Alli trust Damien to keep her safe?

Damien lost someone very close to him and he was not about to lose someone else he loved.  When Damien opened up to Alli, she understood him better.  She knew first hand what it was like to lose people you love.  Damien will stop at nothing to keel Alli safe.

I felt horrible seeing what Damien and Alli went through.  Damien loved Alli unconditionally and he vowed to protect her.  Things begin to get crazy for Damien and Alli, but as long as Alli listened to and trusted Damien, she would be safe.  Damien was not going to lose another person he loved.  I have to say I wasn’t sure what to think of Damien at first. I struggled to agree with some of his actions.  But after getting his back story, I completely understood why he acted the way he did, why he was so protective of Allie, and why he seemed to be a little possessive. Damien won my heart over !! I was in complete awe over him.

There are plenty of twists and turns in TRUST ME and you will be on the edge of your seat the entire time.  In the beginning of the book, I felt as though Damien came on a little too strong and moved a little too fast for my liking.  I loved how Alli was feeling the exact same way I was.  Alli spoke what was on her mind and told Damien exactly what she was feeling.  It was refreshing to see a female lead character hold her own, and not be weak.  I think this was one of my favorite things about the book. 

I am looking forward to see what the future holds for Damien and Alli.  I am anxious to get all the answers to all of my questions regarding Damien’s past.

Jen has always had feelings for her brother Danny's best friend, Colin.  After the death of Danny, Jen went through a dark period in her life.  A period where she did things that she is ashamed of.  Jen is afraid to tell Colin about it, for fear that he will look at her differently. Since the death of her brother, Colin has always been there to help Jen.  He has given her a job, a place to live and a sense of security.  The only problem is, Jen wants more from Colin. Jen is in love with Colin.  Jen knows that Colin has feelings for her, but he won't act on them. Why won't Colin tell Jen how he feels?  Why is Colin pretending as if their isn't sexual chemistry between the two of them?  Another question is, would Danny want Jen with his best friend, Colin?  

Colin is being eaten away by guilt.  Colin blames himself for the death of his best friend, and the circumstances that Jen found herself in after Danny's death.  Colin made three promises to Danny, and he feels as if he has broken all of them.  Has Colin really broken the three promises he made Danny?  Is Colin blaming himself for something he has no control over? Can Colin forgive himself?

Colin and Jen are best friends.  They know so much about each other; they lean on each other.  The two of them are always there for each other when the other person needs them. Colin is having nightmares and is struggling with the guilt that he feels.  Jen is always there to comfort and console him after his nightmares, yet they never speak of them, as if the nightmares aren't occurring.  

Jen and Colin feel the sexual tension between the two of them, it is evident.  Jen decides to act on her feelings and tell Colin how she feels.  After being rejected, Jen makes a decision that will effect the two of them.  Jen decides she needs a change in environment.  She needs an escape from Colin.  To be around him hurts too much.  

"That's why I won't stay here.  This place, this entire situation, is unhealthy.  Oh, and our so-called relationship?  Completely unhealthy.  I refuse to stand by and let you pretend nothing is happening when something so is.  I'm not going to be the only player in this game." Jen

Colin doesn't tell Jen how he truly feels, instead he offers to support her with the decision she made.  Neither one of them can picture a future without each other, yet Colin is going to stand by and watch Jen walk out of his life.  He is willing to risk his heart and happiness, just because he can't admit his feelings for Jen.  Jen refuses to put her heart on the line again. Why can't Colin just tell Jen how he feels? Will he risk losing her?  Will Colin be honest with his feelings? Will Colin stand by and watch Jen walk away?

Colin and Jen both have secrets that they haven't shared with each other.  Will they bare their soles to each other?  Will their feelings change for the other once their secrets are revealed?  Can the two of them have a future together?  Can Jen and Colin finally admit that they are in love with each other?  Will they continue to fight their feelings for one another?

I have to say, while reading this book, I wanted to reach into my iPad and smack Colin on the back of the head.  I couldn't wrap my head around the idea why he just couldn't tell Jen how he felt.  He frustrated the hell out of me.  I was also annoyed with Jen that she wasn't more straight forward with what she wanted from Colin.  If she wanted a commitment from Colin, she should have just told him that.  I felt at times I was reading about two high schoolers, that just couldn't get their shit together.  

I always adore getting more of Drew and Fable.  Yes, things haven't always been easy for the two of them, but I think Colin and Jen should have taken a page out of their book.  Honesty always works...  Say what you mean and act on how you feel.  It could have avoided a lot of the drama in Colin and Jen's relationship.  But I guess that is why I read the romance novels, to see the ups and downs in relationships and hope that the couple gets the happily ever after.

I am a huge fan of Monica Murphy.  I fell in love with Drew and Fable after a friend recommended One Week Girlfriend and Second Chance Boyfriend.

I was super excited when I found out that Monica was giving us a novella on Drew and Fable.  In Drew + Fable Forever, you will get to see what has been going on in Drew and Fable’s lives.  Things sure have changed for the couple. 

Drew is pursuing his dreams and Fable is supporting him 100 %.  The two of them have such a great relationship as they go through the journey of life together.  Drew is now playing in the NFL which takes him away from home a lot.  Fable stays behind to continue raising her younger brother, who is still in high school.  Fable and Drew have not had it easy over the past few years, but their love has gotten them through it. Will their love be able to withstand the distance between the two of them?

Fable has always supported Drew, but things are about to change and Fable is going to need all the support she can get from Drew.  Fable finds out some shocking news and doesn’t know how to tell Drew.  How will Fable tell Drew? How will Drew handle the news?  Will Drew be angry?  Will Drew feel deceived and manipulated?

"Hey, baby, I can't wait ‘til you're officially Mrs. Walker." His deep whisper pulls me out of my almost asleep state. I roll over to face him and even though it's dark, I watch his face. Nose to Nose. "I'm already yours. You know this." So much has happened since he proposed. We were going to wait another year, but Talon is ready to make it official. I love his urgency—I'm ready, too—but I don’t want to rush it with everything that’s going on with the band and the trial. Rebel Walking lost their spot on the tour when Taron was arrested. We've spent the last five months, either in court or in limbo, waiting for something to happen. A few months ago Taron was released from all charges, but the Walker's haven't rested while the trial for Dylan has been on going. Luckily, this morning he was found guilty on multiple counts of attempted rape, attempted murder and countless other offenses. He will be spending many years in prison, which is where he belongs. The instant relief when the verdict was read was so peaceful. We should be celebrating, but everyone is too exhausted to do anything today.

I work my way into a straddle on top of the man who holds my whole heart. "We're not going to stress over this. Let's just keep it simple." I let his words soak in. "Damn straight. Have you ever seen yourself?" I lower my mouth to his chest and begin nibbling over his chest and neck. His hands continue to roam over my body, sending chills in every direction. My hair falls over my face and he uses his hand to swipe it to one side. I feel his hand leave me and his body stretch toward the nightstand right before he flicks on the light. He loves to watch me during sex. It strikes me to the depths of my soul when he does this. His stare pierces straight through my body the entire time. It's raw and so real, but I love it.

I lift my torso back up and watch him tuck his arms beside his head. My fingers run over and through the ridges of his defined stomach. He works hard to stay sculpted and I never miss the opportunity to truly appreciate his efforts.

My fingers follow the muscles straight to where our hips meet. I slowly lift my hips and enjoy that his shaft lifts to the exact spot I need it to be. Sliding down onto him, I close my eyes and love the feeling of him filling me completely. With my hands splayed across his abs, I begin to move slowly.

My focus on how he feels is consuming me. I open my eyes to watch him, not surprised when I find him staring deep into my eyes. Keeping my eyes locked with his, I continue my motions. He allows me to move completely on my own; I love when he gives me control.
