Review:

Rebel Heir was a very quick read for me. From the moment I started the book, the storyline just captivated me. Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward definitely know what they are doing.

I loved the banter between Rush and Gia. They definitely kept my attention. I loved how Gia did not take any crap from Rush and called him out when it was called for. She's my kind of girl.

Gia is a writer on a deadline, who is struggling writer's block. Rush is the all american bad boy who runs the bar. He can have all the women he wants, but he's got his eyes set on Gia. They start off as friends, but there is no denying the chemistry between the two of them. He fights it at first, but he quickly realizes that there is no fighting the stubborn Gia.

I absolutely adore Gia and the power she has over Rush. One by one she is slowly chipping away at his walls and we find out who Rush really is on the inside. This Rush, I LOVE!! Total swoon... Who would have ever thought, the guy with the tough exterior is such a softie. It doesn't hurt that he is hot as hell. Rush has that Alpha caveman way about him as well. Mmm, I would have loved to be Gia on some parts. As Gia is helping Rush, he does his own part to help her as well.

There were some parts where the timeline did not seem clear and towards the ending felt a bit rushed to me. This is a duet, so don't be surprised by the cliffy at the end. The story does take one major twist. One that could truly destroy what they have for one another. At first Rush becomes the man he has grown to be. But when the final truth will be revealed, everything will fall. I will anxiously be waiting for the second part to this story!!!
